Paul is the owner and head vet.
He qualified from the Royal Veterinary College in 2006 and went on to become an advanced practitioner in Dermatology.
Paul is passionate about your pet’s welfare and ensuring that communication with you is always the best it can possibly be. He has launched extended consultations so that you can spend as much time as needed to fully understand your pets diagnosis and plan and be part of the journey.
Laura is an experienced vet who has been with us since December 2021 and has quickly become a valued member of the team.
Her passions lie in imaging, cardiology, and surgery, and she is our specialist cat advocate for the practice.
The Urban Vet has silver accreditation with the International Society of Feline Medicine. Laura is our cat advocate would love to see more cats who can take full advantage of our special feline facilities.
Méabh has been with us since we opened and has helped make us what we are today.
Méabh is a vet who is extremely interested in canine and feline medicine and has a further qualification called a Certificate in Small Animal Medicine which gives her a broader knowledge in canine and feline medicine compared to your average vet.
Méabh recently adopted a stray kitten who was handed in to us and is loving seeing her settle into her new home.
Hannah is an experienced veterinary nurse who has worked alongside Paul for many years.
Hannah ensures that every patient that comes to The Urban Vet receives plenty of love and TLC so that their experience at the vets is not stressful..
Hannah has a strong interest in anaesthesia and wound management which helps us to give the safest anaesthesia for your pets.
Ciara is a vet nurse and helped Paul set up and develop the practice.
Ciara is driven to ensure that The Urban Vet is the best that it can possibly be and that each and every client and their companion receives the very best that can be offered.
Ciara is interested in all areas of veterinary medicine especially cardiology, dermatology and the treatment of chronic conditions.
Steph joined the team in early 2022.
Steph came to us from outside the industry and is a patient care assistant. Proving herself to be a valued member of the team, She started her 3 year veterinary nurse training in April 2023.
Steph is fantastic in helping ensure that the background of the practice is running smoothly. Without this, the vets, nurses and receptionists would not be able to focus on the care for you and your pets.
